This is our “romantic getaway” log cabin that was our first purchase.  We used it regularly before we bought more property.

We love the Smoky Mountain scenery!  Nearby Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg boast tons of country family fun, including DOLLYWOOD!

It’s a roomy one bedroom featuring a rustic outdoor fireplace on the back deck that overlooks one of the resort fishing ponds. An easy walk (less than 1/4 mile) to swimming pool, putt-putt, three other ponds, and other resort amenities. High speed wireless internet. One bedroom (king bed), one bathroom with double seated shower and Jacuzzi tub. Heat and air conditioning. Hot tub and pool table on large covered back porch with wood burning outdoor fireplace overlooking the pond (firewood furnished). Flat screen television in living room and another in bedroom.

Perfect for a couple who wants all one level cabin with a huge outdoor space; and walking distance to amenities.

Breckenridge Hideout

The Hideout is our family getaway destination! It really is our second home and we use it as much as we can.

Nestled between aspens and lodgepole pines, this cozy, family-friendly 3 bedroom, 3 bath cabin is perfect for a group of 6 or 7. Enjoy views of Bemrose Creek, North Star Mountain, and Quandary Peak from the huge outdoor deck or stunning picture window in the living room.

The cabin is a sprawling one-story with a king-sized bed in the master, another king in the second bedroom and the third room has one queen-size and one twin. A roll-away twin is available, if needed. The outdoor deck boasts a gas fire pit and grill, dining table, lounge chairs, and hot tub. The large living room and dining/game table are great for family time. Top of the line appliances include a full size LG washer and dryer. High speed internet, Chromecast, landline, and basic cable.

Our Vision

As a family of five, we found traveling with the kids a challenge. When they were young, we could squeeze into a normal hotel room if one of them (usually the boy) got the “sofa”. However, as they got older and bigger, we’d have to rent two hotel rooms and split up or find another option. Fortunately, vacation home rentals were becoming more popular and we started using them when we traveled. We discovered we LOVE the home/cabin experience much more than a hotel or crowded resort. Vacations started to feel more relaxing and refreshing!
